Urban Strategy Group performed land use consulting and community relations services for a proposed boutique hotel at 1130 S. Hope Street site. This development would have reinvigorated the existing blighted and uninhabitable building in South Park creating a new destination point for entertainment, business, and tourism. The proposed hotel would have 44 luxury guest rooms that featured a large open-air courtyard, restaurant, lobby bar, gallery space, conference and meeting rooms, and a roof top bar with an open-air pool deck. Marshall Projects designed the project. The City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning approved the proposed hotel.
